The new ULTEGRA BR-R8170 hydraulic disc brake caliper features a refined caliper design, resulting in a quieter braking system. The new calipers offer 10% more clearance between the pads and the disc to reduce noise, while a separate bleed port and bleed screw improve system bleeding, now allowing the system to be bled without removing the caliper from the frame.
